This resource contains 60 different task cards giving students the choice of two answers - yes or no - to the question at the top. Each task card contains 1 question, 1 image and 2 answers. The task cards are all in the theme of Autumn / Fall. These task cards come in col and b/w option. They are a great way to encourage students to pay attention to detail, the image that they are looking at and to answer appropriately. I recommend cutting out each card individually and laminating so that they will be stronger and longer lasting. Students can complete with a dry wipe pen or a peg so that they can be used again.

This Halloween themed activity is a great way for your students to work on their math, number, counting, fine motor and problem solving skills. As well as all these skills, this activity will provide your students with the opportunity to look at images of Halloween and use these as a talking point. The puzzles come in 3 different difficulty levels; • Level 1 - 0-3 • Level 2 - 0-5 • Level 3 - 0-10 There is a range of ways that these can be used in your classroom such as; • Print out the b/w puzzles, cut them up and hand them out to your students. Have your students put the puzzles together, sticking them onto a piece of paper/into their work book, then colour them in. • Print out the puzzles, cut them up and laminate them. Use them as a center activity where your students have to look at the numbers on the bottom of each puzzle piece, put them into numerical order to make the puzzle. • Print out two copies of each puzzle (one copy can be b/w), laminate one as a full puzzle (i recommend the b/w one) and then cut out the puzzle pieces on the other puzzle. Laminate the puzzle pieces. Have your students match the individual pieces onto the completed puzzle. This provides a lower ability option for students struggling. Instructions are also included on first pages of each PDF document. I would highly recommend laminating each of the individual task cards so that they will be stronger, therefore longer lasting. This is a great way to keep students motivated and engaged while working on their ten frame counting skills. Comes in both b/w and col option for your printing preference.

This Rapunzel themed write the room activity is a great way to have students moving around the room, hunting for the different cards, reading them and then writing down the answers onto recording sheets. The recording sheets come in numbers 1-8 as well as in 2 different ability levels - plain boxes to write the answers in or boxes with handwriting lines for students to write in. This simplified story is based on the story of Florence Nightingale. It includes 20 pages and the story has been simplified to be more engaging for students and easier for them to understand and follow the story of Florence Nightingale and everything that she achieved throughout her life. Each mini-page, is half an actual page size, meaning you cut each page in half. I recommend laminating each page individually and then binding together to make a book - it’ll also make it stronger and longer lasting for you. You can use this resource as a whole class story which you can read to your students, or print numerous copies and have them readily available for your students to read in your classroom library. Another great way to use this resource is to introduce the book page by page each day/week and put together as a sequencing activity into student’s literacy books so that you can discuss each page more in-depth and have your students work on their sequencing skills. This Christmas crime scene activity pack is a great addition to your Christmas - or Elf - themed topic. With this pack you will be able to create a crime scene where an elf has been frozen! Students have to investigate using the clues provided to find out who committed the crime out of 4 possible suspects. This crime scene is designed to be interactive, engaging and adapted to suit students ability levels. This crime scene includes the following activities; • Time/Clock Recognition Students need to look at the CCTV images and match the time (clocks) to when the elf was frozen to give you the time frame. The suspects are then asked where they were at that time. • Taste Something has been left behind for students to taste! (Cookies) Students have to taste the item, decide what it is and then match it to the suspect who likes to eat it. • Smell Something has been left behind for students to smell! (Milk) Students have to smell the item, decide what it is and then match it to the suspect who likes to smell this. • Addition/Subtraction Laminate the sums and freeze them into ice cubes. Students have to work out how to get the clue out of the ice (melting it, cracking through it etc). They then work out the sum and match it to the suspect who has the same number as the answer to the sum. • Clue Book Students put their clues into the clue book as they go along. This way they are able to keep track of all the clues they have found. This will help them when they need to make a decision on who they think froze the elf. • Wanted Poster Once students have decided who they think the criminal is - they need to make the wanted poster to capture them! Students can either draw and write the criminal’s face and name onto the wanted poster or use the pictures and names we have included to cut and stick onto the wanted poster instead. Your students will love taking part in this fun and interactive crime scene, especially during a busy time of year when it can be hard to keep them engaged. A teachers walkthrough is also included in the pack to help you put together the crime scene and use it to the best of its ability. I would also recommend trying out the crime scene before giving it to your students so that you are able to familiarize yourself with the way that it works. This comes in both spelling options i.e color/colour, favorite/favourite etc. Almost everything that you need to complete this crime scene is included in this pack. However, you will need access to cookies and milk for students to taste/smell.

This social story is a great read for students who may need some support with going on a plane. A lot of children struggle with understanding the process of what is involved going on a plane, it may cause them anxiety and they may not even understand why they need to do the things asked of them. Hopefully, this social story will help encourage your child(ren)/students to get onto a plane, and also help promote independence. Many students with autism are visual learners and like to learn through seeing something in action. Pages included are; ♦ To go on an airplane, I have to go to the airport. ♦ Before we go to the airport, I have to pack my suitcase. ♦ I should pack my clothes, toothbrush and anything else I may need. ♦ There are lots of planes in the airport, so it can get busy. ♦ First, we have to go to the check in desk to check in for our flight. ♦ The lady will look at our passports and weigh our suitcases. ♦ Our suitcases will get put onto the plane by the airport staff. ♦ Next, we have to go through the scanners. I might have to take my shoes and coat off. ♦ I have to walk through a scanner, the staff will tell me where to go. ♦ Now, we can have a look in the shops or have something to eat. ♦ Next it’s time to board our plane, we must go to our gate and give the lady our tickets. ♦ On the plane, I have to sit on the seat that is shown on my ticket. ♦ When the plane takes off and lands, my ears might pop. ♦ There are lots of things for me to do on the plane, as well as lots of food to eat. ♦ When the plane lands, we have to stay sitting until told to take our seat belts off. ♦ We may have to show our passports again to airport staff. ♦ Then, we go and collect our suitcases off a conveyor belt. ♦ Now we can leave the airport! I recommend printing out each of the individual pages, laminating them and then binding them into a book so it will be easier for students to read - or be read to, as well as being stronger and longer lasting. You can use only the pages that you feel most relevant.

Mini booklets for each of the vowels - a,e,i,o,u. Each medial vowel has their own mini booklet, containing 6 different images/words. These mini booklets are a great way for your students to work on their CVC words, while making it more interactive and fun for them. Simply staple/put together the pages so that it makes a mini book, then have the students color/colour in the CVC images, read the words and then write them. There is a writing prompt on the bottom of each page for students to overwrite. This is a great way to introduce CVC words to your students. Once the mini booklets are completed they can either be put on display, sent home or kept close for your students to look back on and use throughout the year when needed to look back over and use for different CVC activities.
